Esther is a Sydney based production designer currently working between Sydney, Melbourne and Byron Bay.

Coming from a fine art background, Esther translates vibrant concepts into immersive screen realities. Honing her craft at the Julian Ashton Art School, where she was awarded the John Olsen Scholarship in 2014, Esther completed her studies at the Production Art Department, under Wayne Haag and Tony Lovett.

She has since been recognised with multiple nominations from the APDG including Best Design for a Feature Film for post-apocalyptic zombie horror 'Wyrmwood Apocalypse' (2022); Best Design for a Commercial (2019) for her work on the Sydney Film Festival Launch Program; and Emerging Designer for Screen for her set design on Australian horror short 'Pseudomonas'.

Most recently, Esther has been selected for the 2024 IF Magazine Rising Talent List.

Fuelled by a love of collaboration and storytelling, Esther is passionate about emotive and meticulously crafted cinematic worlds.

Past commerical clients include Sony, Universal Music, Sydney Film Festival, SBS, EPAA, and the Australian Law Society.

She currently has two feature films in post-production with Bronte Pictures.
